Tsumori Chisato

Tsumori Chisato is one of my favourite fashion designers EVER. She is brilliant and I can't even explain how much I like her creations. Her designs are cute, fun, innovative and colourful. The top is from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection and the sunglasses are Fall/Winter 2011.

I love love love love pink hair. And berets and glasses. Oh and peter pan collars.

I turned 19 today, yay. I don't like cake at all, so I drew a tart with berries instead. 

Jeremy Scott + Proenza Schouler

I've been obsessed with these Jeremy Scott Mickey Mouse sunglasses for a really long time and I always wanted to draw them. A lot of people became familiar with these because of Lady Gaga's music video that I don't remember the name of and I can't be bothered to look it up. I'm not a huge fan of Lady Gaga, I just kind of like her style... sometimes.

The patchwork vest/tank top is based on Proenza Schouler.  I love it! I first saw it here.

Bow Hair

Yes, I was inspired by Lady Gaga's hair. I've always liked this hairstyle but I think it looks way better with pink hair.

Cool Librarian

I bought a new journal last week and I always like my journals to have interesting/cool covers, so I drew this and I really liked it. In my opinion she kind of looks like a librarian! But a cool one, obviously. I don't mean that librarians aren't cool already but I've never seen a librarian with blue hair and purple eyeglasses...

I made four versions of this doll ( the others are blue, purple and mint green) but I think it looks cuter in pink.

As this is my first ever blog post I think that introducing myself is the best thing I could do. So yeah :) 

My name is gabie and I usually never spell it with a capital g. I don't really know why. I just don't like the way it looks, lol. I'm an 18 year old Graphic Design student and nerdfighter currently living in Mexico, yay! I love art, photography and fashion. I am obsessed with the 60s, old films, tea and rainy days. I usually spend the majority of my time on the Internet reading fashion blogs, reblogging gifs from tumblr or illustrating things that I like (e.g. clothing items, fruits, sunglasses, dolls). I recently just finished my first year at University, oh yes. Only three more years to go and I'm done. 

I'm not very good at introducing myself as you can tell... so to wrap things up here are some random and pointless facts about me.

• I like drawing apples and eyeglasses. A lot. 
• I'm allergic to shrimp.
• I love nail varnish.
• My favourite colour is apple green.
• No, apples aren't my favourite fruit.
• Raspberries and oranges are.
• I love England and Japan. I wish I could live in London one day. That would be perfect.
• I bruise very easily.
• I don't like Nutella.
• My favourite film of all time is Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey Hepburn is my role model.
• I love The Beatles.
• George Harrison is an inspiration to me. 
• I have two parrots.
• I am a Whovian.
• My favourite books are: The Third Eye by Lobsang Rampa and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
• I love saying "yay!"
